How It Works

We make it Easy

Wherever possible we come to you to take the casts – you don’t even need to leave your home to enjoy our service!

Currently the home visit is included in Great London and Edinburgh. If you would like to check that you will receive a free home visit simply complete our enquiry form with your postcode and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

What if I fall outside the free home visit area?

  1. We may still be able to offer a home visit but make a charge for extra travel and time required. Enter your details and postcode on our enquiry form to receive a quote.
  2. Visit one of our CASTING VENUES and receive a discount on your cast.
  3. Why not try our CASTING SYSTEM to take your own moulds – click on the link to find out more.

The Casting Visit

  • The home visit lasts around 30 minutes and requires no preparation on your part.
  • We will bring samples for you to see and you don’t need to decide what you would like until we take the moulds.
  • Taking the moulds is a quick and simple process using a very gentle casting mousse and takes less than a minute – we capture even the wriggliest of fingers and toes!
  • All the cast details and payment are taken at the time of the casting visit.
  • The moulds are then taken to our workshop to be crafted into your treasured casts.
  • Your finished casts will be safely delivered to you within 3-4 weeks. If you need them sooner please let us know and we will endeavour to meet any deadline you may have.

The Art of Casting – How is your cast made?

  • step1

    Step 1

The moulds are returned to our workshop where they are filled and left to set.

  • step2

    Step 2

Any little air bubbles incurred during the moulding process are skillfully removed from the resin cast.

  • step3

    Step 3

The cast is gently buffed with wire wool to reveal the colour and shine of the real metal powder in the resin.

  • step4

    Step 4

To make the casts perfectly shiny they are polished and treated to showcase every scruptious line and detail before they are engraved or framed in the way you have chosen.
